Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Manager
CTAL-TM
An Advanced Test Manager is able to manage a testing project by implementing the mission, goals and testing processes established for the testing organization. As such, the Advanced Test Manager organizes and leads risk identification and risk analysis sessions and uses the results of such sessions for test estimation; creation and implementation of test plans; and the monitoring and control the test activities to achieve project objectives. The Advanced Test Manager also manages the test team; identifies skills and resource gaps; creates related skill development and staffing plans; and leads test process improvement initiatives.

Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst

The Advanced Level Test Analyst qualification is aimed at people who wish to develop further their expertise in test analysis and design. The Advanced Test Analyst is able to determine the appropriate testing techniques and functional test types using a proper prioritization, to ensure that tests provide an adequate level of confidence, based on defined coverage criteria. The Advanced Test Analyst also effectively participates in requirements / user story reviews with stakeholders, and improves the efficiency of the test process with the use of tools.

Certified Tester Advanced Level – Technical Test Analyst

An Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst is able to recognize and classify the typical risks associated with the performance, security, reliability, portability and maintainability of software systems, and is able to provide technical elements to the implementation of tests to mitigate such risks. The Technical Test Analyst is also able to select and apply appropriate white-box test techniques and effectively participate in reviews with developers and software architects to improve the quality characteristics of code and architecture. Furthermore, the Technical Test Analyst is able to outline the concepts, technical issues and cost/benefit to be expected from test automation, and select appropriate tools to automate technical testing tasks.

Certified Tester – Test Automation Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer you are responsible for the development and automation of tests. You take on the planning and implementation of automation processes and can document them. With the internationally recognised ISTQB® Certified Tester – Test Automation Engineer (CTAL-TAE) certification, you will be able to prove your knowledge and skills and take on the management of these types of projects.
