In late March 2009, the ISTQB announced a change to the Advanced Level Exams. To coincide with this change, effective April 8, 2008, all Canadian Software Testing Board Advanced Level exams are 3 hours long, made up of 65 questions, and require a passing mark of 65%. The CSTB has set the fee for this level of exams to $350.00. The $120.00 pre-qualification fee to determine if you may write the advance level exams still applies.
Technical Test Analyst and Test Analyst exams, as of fall 2020, are 2 hours long and use the 2019 syllabus.
