Cost

The cost of the Foundation Exam is $300.00 CDN.
The cost of the Foundation Level Agile Tester Extension Exam is $200.00 CDN.
There is a one time fee of $120.00 60.00 CDN for a candidate who is taking his/her first Advanced Exam.
The cost of any Advanced Exam is $350.00 CDN.

Dates and Registration Information

Our exams are hosted at electronic testing centres that are open most days of the week. Once you have paid and registered here, you will receive an access code that allows you to choose the best date, time and location for you.

Foundation Level Agile Tester Extension

For Agile exams, your code will be withheld until we can confirm that you have your Foundation Level certificate. If you wrote your exam with the CSTB, you do not need to do anything. We will check our records and issue the code to you immediately after confirming. If you wrote your ISTQB Foundation Level with another board, please reply to your receipt with a copy of your certificate.

Advanced (CTAL)

For Advanced Exams (Test Manager, Test Analyst and Technical Test Analyst), your code will be held back while  we confirm that you have been approved to write CTAL exams. If you have not been approved, please visit our qualification page here. If you have previously been approved, please allow up to 5 days (usually less) for your code to arrive by e-mail.

Private Business Paper Exams

If you are with a company that is interested in arranging certification exams for your employees, please contact us. *Please note: A minimum of 8 people is required for on-site exams. For less than 8 people, there is an additional fee of $50.00 CDN per person.
