What is the ISTQB International Software Quality Testing Board?

The ISTQB is composed of volunteer representatives from each existing national board, such as the CSTB. The ISTQB decides on the standards for certification and the necessary accreditation requirements to be an ISTQB accredited training provider. Working parties within the ISTQB are responsible for developing and maintaining the Foundation, Advanced and Expert Level syllabi, exam development procedures, and the Glossary of Terms.
